Coastal sand

As the northern hemisphere slowly moves into its big chill we are really enjoying the spring thaw and our longer days. It wasn't a harsh winter but there is always something inspiring and energizing about more daylight hours and fewer clothes. We took advantages of the nice new season to spend a couple of days at the beach with Avi and Rona before they headed back to their own side of the Pacific. While the sun beamed down on us the water temperature still clung to its winter coat. The hardy ones in the bunch went for a swim, the timider in the bunch were bribed into swimming and the unfortunate ones in our group sat in the sand without realizing that they were missing out. While the desert was incredible and will be missed it was nice to be reunited with the beach.
