Red, orange, yellow

And we are back in North America again! Well except for Jakob who is off on his own adventures that involve fancier clothes than our own. We made it just in time to get a nice view of the leaves transforming before fading away for the winter and for the Canadian and Jewish harvest festivals. We arrived in Canada to some cold weather and wind which gave the girls a bit of a shock. I was glad to finally get to use the jackets and pants and cool weather clothes I had been lugging around for months. But the very cold was a false alarm and each day of our stay the sun shone brighter and warmer than the last allowing us to stroll through town and forest unhitched and to play and picnic to our hearts contents. We have eaten a lot of bagels and apples, seen friends and family, seen a lot of the colour orange and have generally. Thanks Canada for the perfect week of Autumn.

The Glebe, Ottawa  - this house is always so picturesque no matter the season

Only the leaves fell
