Zadie is now seven weeks old, and we are well and truly On Holiday. With half a year of travel ahead of us, we're especially looking forward to catching up with friends and family - it would make us very happy if you added yourselves into our itinerary! Hikes, coffee, climbing, games - you name it, we're up for it. So here's the current plan, let us know if our paths are likely to cross:
Fiji: February 9 - 16
Melbourne: February 16 - 22
Hawaii: February 22 - March 16
Los Angeles and San Francisco: March 16 - April 12
Vancouver area: April 12 - 26
Montreal, Ottawa and area: April 26 to mid-May
Europe Wanderings: mid-May to late July
Norway: late July to mid-August
The vague bit is, of course, ten weeks of adventuring in Europe. We will find out how much hiking is possible with an amiable six-month old, a rather uppity three-year old, and some even more uppity vertebrae. We're on the hunt for European trails which are (a) gorgeous, (b) between 100 and 1,000 km, and (c) have shelter along the way. Any suggestions?
